Stereotypes about gaming

There have been many stereotypes about gaming going on since they were created. parents and people claim that gaming makes people lazy, violent, reclusive and a list of many other things. But the truth of the matter is that gaming actually increases brain activity by constantly putting you in situations where you have to think and out think your opponents wether its in a solo mode game or you play a PVP game. It helps with anger issues because in the world where you aren’t allowed to be angry or else people get upset with you or start talking about you it lets you take pent up aggression out on creature in game or opponents in game. I gaming has given me much over the years. For instance friends that i can count on when I need someone to talk to after meeting them on a game and always playing together, compassion to help people and the confidence to be able to voice my opinion. Hearing people go around and slam games saying that video games cause violence is ignorant and based on feelings with no shred of scientific facts. So to those that read this. Don’t buy your kids games that aren’t ment for their age, dont blame the game for your parenting style that lets your children do what ever they want. It’s not the video games fault for labeling the age range that is supposed to play it, maybe blame yourself for not caring that it was a game ment for adults and you gave it to a child and are now angry that he curses and gets angry because he doesn’t realize that losing is part of life. Stop treating your children like they are saints, none of us were but to blame video games, is just pure ignorance
