Is the future of gaming slowly creeping upon us?

With the age of computers getting faster, phones getting smarter and frame rates on consoles getting better is it just me or is there a chance that a genuine VR game should be on its way soon? Ive been curious about this for a while and i have been looking into different companies that are at the forefront of VR and so far i am impressed, sony with their oculus, HTC with their vive and so on and so forth. But I’m curious as to when we will really get a game that can transport you into a magical world where you can play with friends, hangout with your favorite characters as if you were really there. Call me new aged or whatever you want but I’m ready for the future to get here sooner than you can imagine. So i shall leave it here for the night. But please can we get more people on board with this because i want to be able to feel like I’m in one of my favorite games or able to actually talk to my favorite characters as if i was there.
